Robin Guthrie
Position: Managing Director

Robin joined Cherton in 1999 from his previous position as Commercial Director of a UK plc. He has led a number of high profile campaigns with clients such as Westfield, Waitrose, John Lewis, Norbrook Laboratories, Spire Healthcare and Land Securities.

He has also worked on specific projects with Phoenix Gas, Lagan, G4S and Dobbies Garden Centres. 

Richard Hart
Position: Director

Richard joined Cherton in 2006 having previously held various senior positions in the public sector. He has provided top-level strategic advice to Cherton's clients such as the Murdock Group, McCloskey and O’Kane and KPL Utilities. He specialises in advice to various Waste Management Companies and renewable energy interests such as E.On EEW and Stream BioEnergy. He also acts in a governance and management capacity, for a local grant funding charity, Hope for Youth NI.

Billy Pinkerton
Position: Chairman

Billy set up Cherton in 1995 after a full career in the Civil Service. He acquired the company’s first client and that was Sainsbury's and he advised them on their entry into the local Northern Ireland market. This was a relationship that went to span some 17 years. He retains a formidable network of contacts and a wealth of experience in guiding clients through the complex bureaucracy of Government in Northern Ireland
